Mound, located on the western shores of Lake Minnetonka, is almost totally surrounded by water. A magnet for homeowners who love the water, it is 3.1 square miles and home to more than 9,000 residences. Mound, which is in the Westonka School District (ISD 277), features a skate park and Dakota Rail Trail where cyclists can be found in warmer months and fat tire enthusiasts brave the cold.
